Advocate Bindu S. Chettur is the Founder and Managing Director of Chanakyatse Consultancy, a comprehensive end-to-end management consultancy firm operating in the UAE and India. She holds the position of Senior Associate at Mohamed Salman Advocate & Legal Consultants in Dubai. With over 32 years of distinctive experience spanning the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, she served as a senior lawyer at the Indian Consulate, Dubai, for more than two decades.

As an accomplished Legal Consultant with expertise in mainland UAE and rights of audience in the DIFC and ADGM Courts, she possesses extensive experience in Criminal Law, Civil Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution, Cross-border Maritime Law, Family Law, Labour Law, Real Estate Law, Startups and Venture Capital, Intellectual Property, Construction Law, Wills and Probate, Execution of foreign judgments overseas, Bankruptcy Law, Setting up businesses, and Debt Recovery cases (in association with Interpol and state officials). Furthermore, she is among the few lawyers licensed by the DIFC Wills & Probate Registry to register common law-compliant Wills for foreign investors and expatriates in Dubai, UAE.

Her notable achievements include a landmark victory in the Sharjah Court, where she was appointed by the Indian Government to advocate in the "death penalty case of seventeen Indians accused of murdering a Pakistani National," resulting in the acquittal of all seventeen members. This success earned international media recognition for Advocate Bindu S. Chettur.

Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to giving back to society and her country, Advocate Chettur has served as a panel lawyer appointed by the Indian Consulate since 2002, providing pro-bono legal advice to distressed expatriate Indians in the UAE. Her primary focus is on assisting disadvantaged expatriate Indians, including blue-collar workers and financially disadvantaged individuals, driven by her enduring belief in justice and equality—a guiding force in her career. In 2010, she assumed the role of panel lawyer at the Indian Workers Resource Center (IWRC), inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India. The IWRC later became Pravasi Bharatiya Sahaya Kendra (PBSK), where she currently holds the position of the senior-most panel lawyer. During her tenure as President of IBPC, she organized multiple functions promoting women in business and dedicated time to uplifting emerging women in the business sphere.

Advocate Chettur actively participates in public appearances at numerous social events, serving as an advisor and lawyer for Indian and international citizens. She delivers speeches to educate the public about their legal rights, enhance legal awareness, and advocate for the upliftment of marginalized individuals and communities. In recognition of her philanthropic contributions, Advocate Chettur was selected as the speaker for Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in 2015 and 2017, acknowledging the overseas Indian community’s significant contribution to the development of India.

She stands as a steadfast pillar in society, dedicated to supporting and empowering communities globally, and is revered as a champion for expatriate Indians in the UAE.
